Oh dear, what chaos!

As you can see, we are surrounded by boxes and boxes of 'STUFF'!!
Lots of stock for the retreat, class supplies and goodies for the delegates. Will be a relief to finally have it all sorted and sent on its way to the Esplanade. Still have alot more to arrive and starting to get a bit anxious...
We will start packing up the delegate bags tomorrow, you girls are in for a real treat!! I have never gotten delegate bags like this on any retreats/conventions I have done.
That is in large part thanks to our generous supporters!

Michaels Shoe shrine is the sample for the class at the Retreat next weekend! It is so amazing and even better in real life when you can see all the detail!
The second shot is a Pez Dispenser that is available for sale at the retreat! Absolutely awe inspiring work by a very talented man!

Sunny Monday

Oh what a difference from Saturday! It feels more like Spring than Summer, but I shouldn't speak too soon as it is heating up this week, so I shall enjoy this glorious day while it lasts. Am going to get started on some of my art for the retreat and can't wait to get stuck in to some paint again! Hope to make some altered playing cards as gifts for our wonderful tutors! I so love Mondays, I get to enjoy my home with no distractions from children or husband. I have Leonard Cohen playing on the computer (what a beautiful, mellow voice, thankyou Nina!) and am feeling very creative!

Rainy Saturday

As always the weather is very up and down this time of year. These photos were taken on Saturday. First two are from my backyard and the last is from my studio window. Was a lovely day for being creative. I love to work with the rain coming down outside.

Time has gotten away again

Where has all the time gone? I swaer I meant to post a second time last time, but before I know it 4 days have passed!
Have put up a few more pics from our Summer holiday, some show the huge black clouds rolling in over the sand dunes. We had a spectacular thunder storm that evening, plenty of lightning! Was awe inspiring to watch nature put on her very own sky show!
Will try and take my camera into the shop tomorrow. We have had so much stock coming in with even more on the way. Hope to start packaging up kits and delegate bags over the next week. Fingers crossed all the stock comes in! We are starting to get a little crowded in our little shop...

Excuse double post

Please excuse double post as I said, I am still figuring this thing out!
Below are some photos taken at the beach at Club Capricorn over the Austrlia Day long weekend. We had some spectacular thunder storms and you may notice the heavy clouds coming over in a couple of shots.

Lots of catching up

Wow! Can't believe it is almost a month since I last wrote! Where has the time gone??
We had a wonderful holiday in Club Capricorn, Yanchep and I will try and get some photos loaded. My first attempt at loading pics so fingers crossed!
Kids are all back to school now after a veeeerrry long break. They have all settled in well but still having trouble getting them to bed with this dreaded daylight saving. Don't like it at all, sorry!
Back to work now and the Art Retreat is only 3 weeks away. Have been flat out ordering lots of goodies and so can't wait for everything to arrive.
The parcel from Michael is AMAZING! His work is just incredible and seeing it in person really makes you appreciate all the work and detail that goes in to it. I am really looking forward to having a go at making my own works of art in Michaels classes.
Will try and write more later today... kids are nagging to go on the computer. I really have to get them their own!!!
